Services You Can Offer as an Inexperienced Virtual Assistant

One of the many benefits of becoming a Virtual Assistant is that you can offer a service for something you KNOW you are good at.

Many Virtual Assistants have started out at the bottom and have worked their way to offer several services. You’ll get there!

If you’re open to learning new skills, let your potential clients know. Encourage them to draw up a standard operating procedure document to help guide you through tasks you’re unfamiliar with.

So, what are you good at? Let’s brainstorm together.

1. What are things you enjoy doing?

There are no limits! As a Virtual Assistant, you’ll come across so many entrepreneurs in different fields who need an array of different tasks done.

2. What are the things you’re good at?

List ANY talents here, no matter how unrelated they are to work. Are you good at cracking corny dad jokes? Can you draw?

3. What are things you are looking to learn?

List skills you’d like to add to your belt.

Now that you’ve got that waxed, let’s start organizing them.

Step 1: Circle things that stand out.

Is there something that gets you excited? If not, head to the next step.

Step 2: Circle those that are listed more than once.

Are there any that show up more than once?

Step 3: Circle any related skills under the “enjoy doing” AND “good at” sections.

It’s important to enjoy what you’re good at, right?

Step 4: Brainstorm how your circled skills can come in handy as a service.

Still stuck? Google is the new generation’s best friend. Take those skills, and Google them with the keywords “virtual assistant” to see what pops up.
